Shield Shoring

Generally shields are a good option for the installation of pipelines or underground vaults. They excel in soil that can stand up without sloughing long enough for them to be installed. Shields are not recommended in areas where groundwater is close to existing grade because of the increased difficultly in retrieving the shields due to the suction of the ground water. Shields also may not be the best option where there are high surcharge loads nearby such as you would find with a railroad or foundation. There is no project too small or too large for us.
