Project Description:
A project located approximately 200 feet from the Sacramento River which required a 27 foot
reduction in the water table. Due to the proximity to the Sacramento River levee, an Army
Corps review and approval was required. The project was complicated by a previous attempt
that was abandoned due to liquefaction at the bottom of the excavation.
