Civil Engineering

J. M. Turner performs engineering and site development services for residential, commercial and industrial sites throughout the United States. Our services include predevelopment site investigations, preparation of improvement plans, site grading, utility design/coordination, design of erosion and sediment control facilities and storm water management.

Our staff is experienced in the preparation of site grading plans producing balanced earthwork conditions. We have developed and evaluated plans for sites requiring from two thousand to one hundred thousand cubic yards of earth moved.

Our site grading services account for other pertinent aspects of site development such as slope stability, drainage and storm water management. Our staff has considerable experience obtaining local, state and Federal erosion and sedimentation control permits along with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits for storm water discharge from construction activities.

We have assisted developers, architects and private industry with the development of cost effective designs for residential single lot developments and subdivisions, commercial facilities, industrial and agricultural sites and large scale fill/borrow sites.
